KATHMANDU: The World Muay Thai Federation has appointed president of Nepal Muay Thai Association Ganesh Lal Kakshyapati as the Director and Convenor of South Asian Muay Thai Federation.
The meeting of the world body held in Greece this week decided to hand over the responsibility to Kakshyapati. Kakshyapati will now be the in-charge of the sport in South Asia and he will be responsible of developing Muay Thai in the region.
“I have taken it as an opportunity and challenge as I will have to work on the development of the sport in the South Asian region,” Kakshyapati said. — HNS
