Real Madrid appoints Julen Lopetegui as coach for next three seasons

MADRID: Spanish soccer club Real Madrid on Tuesday said it had appointed Julen Lopetegui as its new coach for the next three seasons.

Lopetegui, who is currently coaching the Spanish national team, will join the winner of the European Champions League at the end of the World Cup which kicks off on Thursday in Russia.
