KATHMANDU: In another case of back-to-back setback to the incumbent government, the Supreme Court of Nepal has today issued an order to give continuity to Nikita Poudel as the chairperson of Film Development Board.
The government had recently decided to remove all political appointments made by the Deuba government after the implementation of the election code-of-conduct.
On Monday, the apex court had ordered to continue its stay order against government decision to ban protests and demonstrations in key public places in Kathmandu including Maitighar Mandala.
Additionally, the Box Office System has been introduced in the Nepali film industry, effective from today.
