Team departs

KATHMANDU: A five-member Nepali team on Thursday left for Australia to participate in the Gold Coast Open Taekwondo Championship beginning on Saturday.

Situ Singh Maskey and Abhinav Shakya will take part in the below-40kg weight category, while they will also take part in junior poomsae along with Yangchen Sherpa.

Kathmandu District Taekwondo Association Secretary Kumar Lama Ghising is the team leader, while Kabiraj Negi Lama is the manager.
