Maj Lachhimi Prasad Gurung and Padam Shrestha won the titles of the Annual Ex-Brigade Gurkhas Golf Society Monsoon Golf Tournament here at the Royal Nepal Golf Club.
Played under stroke play format, the 12-handicap amateur golfer Shrestha won the nett section trophy with the score of two-under 66. Maj Gopal Bahadur Gurung came second with 67 and Capt Om Bhattachan was third with the score of 69.
In gross category, eight-handicapper Gurung claimed the title with the score of 11-over 79. Maj Himraj Gurung finished second with the score of 80 and SP Rajendra Shrestha came third with 81.
Maj Gopal Bahadur Gurung, Captain of Ex-Brigade Gurkhas Golf Society, and Maj Mani Prasad Rai, former Captain, handed over the prizes to the winners. A total of 18 golfers took part in the event.
