Ramesh Uprety, who was wanted in the gold smuggling case, has been arrested.
He was arrested in the United Arab Emirates two weeks ago and has been handed over to the Interpol.
Uprety will be brought to Nepal after completing necessary paperworks, according to Nepal Police sources.
He is the younger brother of the main accused of smuggling of 33 kilograms of gold and murder of Sanam Shakya Chuda Mani Uprety (aka Gore). Statement given to the court by those accused in the case has revealed that he was involved in gold smuggling from Dubai.
